The Art of Letting Go

by Jenny on February 21, 2014

Truth never changes. And it doesn’t go away. If you know in your heart that it is time to let something go, please do. Everything is going to be okay.

Be brave, you have the strength to do it. Life is meant to be peaceful. Life is supposed to be filled with joy, it might not always be a joy that shouts to the mountain tops, but that’s okay. Find a joy that quietly sustains you.

If there is something in you’re life that is keeping you from being the best person you can be, let it go. It may be difficult. And it will probably hurt a bit. But when you let go and open you’re heart to all the beautiful possibilities life has to offer – you will start to see the incredible gifts that God has given you, big and small.

Be in a place where worries are few and laughter is abundant; where conversations are meaningful and where smiles are copious and true. That life is waiting for you.
Just let all that ‘stuff’ go… you can do it.

Good Reads

August 11, 2013

I’ve been trying to let go of the household duties and have a little relaxing “me” time while Eleanor naps. Reading a good book relaxes me, so that’s what I’ve been doing. Reunited and it feels so good…

June 9, 2013

I could blame the lack of posts on the fact that my laptop keeps wanting to die. But the truth is, I really wasn’t all that interested in keeping this going :/. My life has been in a holding pattern as of late. Eleanor and I finally got into a routine, and I have been terrified that [...]
